About Planet Hollywood

Planet Hollywood is one of the most unique resorts in the Las Vegas Strip. While the original property began as Tally Ho resort in 1963, the current Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino only came into being in 2007. The unique feature of Planet Hollywood is its homage to popular films - each of the 2,500 rooms are designed based on a movie, featuring props and memorabilia from the actual film.

With a massive casino, fancy restaurants, and the famous Miracle Mile Shops retail space, the resort is one of the most popular spots in Las Vegas. It is in Miracle Mile Shops that most of Planet Hollywood's shows are held. Some of the well known theatres include V Theatre and Saxe Theatre.

Navigating the V Theatre Seating Chart

V Theatre is a unique venue - it has two showrooms (the theatre and Club Z), and hosts multiple shows. Given the intimate nature of the theatre, you can get good views from most seats (except the limited view and end row seats). Here, we discuss the V Theatre.

VIP Section: The rows in the front offer the best views of the show. The seats are comfortable and you get a direct view of the stage, free of obstruction. The best seats in this section are those between rows A-C. While there are seats that are right around the table, you may have to crane your neck if you are watching a show with aerialists.

General Admission Section: With only 132 seats, the General Admission section is fairly smaller than the VIP section. There are no wheelchair accessible seats in this section. The view from here is decent, as long as it's not from the last few rows.

Which Seats Offer the Best View in V Theatre?

Rows AA-C offer the best views in the house given their close proximity to the stage. However, given that these seats are in the VIP Seating section, tickets can get a little expensive.

Which Seats Offer the Best Value for Money in V Theatre?

As mentioned above, the view from almost anywhere in the theatre is pretty good. You could opt for General Admission tickets, but that would be too far from the stage. Try going for seats in rows D-H to get a good view for a fair price.

Navigating the Club Z, V Theatre Seating Chart

v theatre club z Seating Chart

Club Z, V Theatre is a small theatre with a total of 199 seats, with 129 of them in the VIP Quarantine Zone and 70 in the General Admission Section.

VIP Quarantine Zone: The rows in the front offer the best view of the show as the theatre doesn’t have an elevated seating and the chairs are all level to the ground. The upbeat show is known to involve the audience, so if you are seated in the front of the theatre, chances are that you will become part of the amazing showcase. The VIP Zone stretches from Row A in the front to Row N beyond the middle of the theatre. Row L has five wheelchair accessible seats (1 to 5).

General Admission Section: With only 8 rows and 70 seats, the general admission section forms a small part of the theatre. Though the tickets to this section are slightly cheaper, the view of the stage may not be so good. With no elevation, the seats at the back may not allow you to engage actively in the show.

Which Seats Offer the Best View in Club Z?

Given how compact this theatre is, the best seats are those in rows A-J as they are closest to the stage. However, if you get seats beyond row D, it is best to try and gets seats 1-7 in those rows.

Which Seats Offer the Best Value for Money in Club Z?

If you don't fancy spending too much on a show, you can get seats in the General Admission section, particularly rows O-Q. However, given that the difference between the two sections isn't much, your best bet is to try for seats in the VIP Seating area.

The General Reserved Seating area is the area behind the VIP seating area. The seating area narrows towards the end of the theatre with decreasing seats. There are a total of 137 seats in the series 101 – 119 from row M to X. There is no wheelchair seating area in the general reserved seating. The rows T to X are at the back of the theatre. While they do have a decent view, it does not compete with the rest of the seating.

Which Seats Offer the Best View in Saxe Theatre?

The Saxe Theatre is a compact theatre and generally has good seats throughout. The VIP seating has the best seats in the theatre and every seat offers a great view of the stage and the performers of the show. All the seats from row B to K offer good views.

The General Reserved Seating is skewed to the right of the theatre and tapers down towards the end. The last rows W and X have only four seats, which must definitely be avoided. The best rows in the general reserved seating area are rows M to S. While the view is a bit distant, it offers clear unhindered views of the stage.

Which Seats Offer the Best Value for Money in Saxe Theatre?

The VIP Seating area is slightly more expensive than the general reserved seating area. It offers great views and most importantly you don’t have to wait in line to be seated before the show starts. You can arrive 15 minutes prior to the show and be seated by the usher.

The General Reserved seating is the best option for those seeking budget-friendly options. The views are as good because the theatre is fairly small.
