Chicago Tickets

“Chicago” is one of Broadway’s breakthrough productions and a landmark musical in the history of theater. The show transports you back to Chicago, circa the 1920s, and revolves around a spree of murders committed by women who had the city’s newspapers and residents gripped. A multiple Tony and Laurence Olivier Award winner, “Chicago” is based on a play of the same name, written by journalist Maurine Dallas in 1926, and is based around actual criminals and crimes she reported on.

After opening in 1975, “Chicago” ran for 936 performances until 1977. The musical was revived on Broadway in 1996 and holds the record for the longest-running musical revival and the longest-running American musical in Broadway history. Among other accolades, “Chicago” also holds the record for the second longest running show in Broadway history and the longest running American musical on London’s West End.
